The ninth edition of Venice Days kicks off at the end of this week with “Women’s Tales”: four short films by four young female directors from around the world, a three-day showcase on the Lido (from 30 August to 1 September) to support women filmmakers, under the aegis of Venice Days’ creative partner Miu Miu. The four directors on the lineup are: Zoe Cassavetes, Lucrecia Martel, Giada Colagrande and Massy Tadjedin, who will present the world premiere of her short It’s Getting Late

She shows off glam looks for a feature in the August edition of Vogue Italia. In front of Ellen von Unwerth’s lens, Lana marvels in colorful dresses selected by fashion editor Cathy Kasterine. Lush curls by hair stylist Charlie Le Mindu and glossy makeup by Stephanie Kunz complement the designs of Dior, DSquared2, Valentino and others flawlessly. 

Do The Right Thing

I don't know if you ever seen this movie. Click on the image above to see the official trailer..

It's a 1989 American drama film produced, written, and directed by Spike Lee, who is also a featured actor in the film. The movie tells the story of a neighborhood's simmering racial tension, which comes to a head and culminates in tragedy on the hottest day of the summer.

The film contains several allusions to contemporary race-related violent acts.

The film was released to protests from many reviewers, and it was openly stated in several newspapers that the film could incite black audiences to riot.

One of many questions at the end of the film is whether Mookie "does the right thing" when he throws the garbage can through the window, thus inciting the riot that destroys Sal's pizzeria.

I'm watching it right now, while I'm writing this post... you should do the same!!

it's too hot in Milan, the metro runs every 10 minutes and it takes too long to go from one part of the city to another ..... AAA ..... Wanted solutions

Do you know how to go skateboarding?? When I was a child my grandmother gave me one, when I was living in Florence ... maybe I used a few times, two or three ....

But I have to say that it's fashion! I seem to be a model that is in milan for fashion week! (we're almost there! we're expecting them with glory)

I do not know, but the skateboarder has its fashion ... oversized tank top, jogging pants, Nike shoes, rumpled appearance and baseball cap!

Today I said to the subway stop! so I go to Decathlon and I bought a skateboard ....

Do not ask me if I'm able to go there because the answer is no! Absolutely!

How to dress like...Freddie Mercury

Unfortunately, or fortunately (it all depends on your point of view) in Milan every shop and pub in the evening are closed ... for holidays! Lucky them!

Summer is not over yet, so while everyone is basking in the sun, smeared with suntan oil or any type of milk tanning, here we have to find a city look, suitable for hot tropical weather ;-)

Cesenatico Day 1

Today I did not really want to go to the beach .. too much chaos, too many people! I like the isolte beaches, deserted, reached through small and narrow paths, or with a small boat ...

Being on the Adriatic Coast, however, contradicts me much! Here miles of beach resorts crowded, kids screaming and running everywhere. When you want to try to lie on the bed here is a girl who goes with his toys and throws you the sand anywhere on your body just oiled!

So I decided to spend a day quite different: Cesenatico

Ever been?

Today Cesenatico is a popular tourist resort. It is home to the Marine Museum (Maritime Museum), where historic fishing boats are Displayed in the canal.

In the Christmas period (from December 1 epiphany) of the Marine Museum of the boats moored in the port channel, a crib was arranged very striking: the Nativity of the Navy, designed by Guerrino Gardini, with man-sized figures.

Yatch Club

Unfortunately the second part of my vacation did not go as planned .. no boat trip = (

I was already with the bags on the boat when the captain tells us that the engine would not start for some fault ... damn! What to do? Returning to Milan? Of course not! So I took refuge in the nearby beach house in Milano Marittima .... more sun, sea and music! 

Afternoons spent in the alleys of Cervia and Cesenatico, looking for something nice in the shops during the evening walk.

Street shoes and flip flops to walk again, beach towel and suntan oil, towards the beach!

May I miss the flatbread with Nutella? Of course not! I'm  preparing for the cold and long winter in Milan = P

This afternoon I was at Ravenna Yacht Club, where our boat is moored, perhaps deluding myself that the engines did their beautiful noise, but nothing ... so I took the opportunity to take some pictures

P. S. Yesterday was the night of San Lorenzo ... spotted shooting stars?

Last day in Rhodes

Last day in Rhodes, awake at dawn, already packed ready for departure, but the desire to return to Milan just is not there;) it's time to sum ​​up this holiday, our first holiday together.

Our destination? On the north-western shore of Rhodes, close to the promontory of Agios Minas (the Ancient Mylantio) lies the third of The island's ancient cities - Kamiros.

Kamiros was one of the three large Doric cities of the island, which united with Ialyssos and Lindos in the 5th century B.C. to create the powerful city - state of Rhodes.

Kameiros has been often compared to Pompeii, something which is not correct since Kameiros did not fall into decline because of a natural disaster.

Walking in the midst of these remains as well-preserved makes you go in your mind the distant past ... can not miss the trips away from along with Lindos and Rhodes.

Still On Vacation

Hello guys!

How's your summer going? I hope well :) 

Just returned from Rhodes, two washing time and I already have to do a new suitcase expecting me 4 days in a boat with mom and dad. Before a trip to Venice and than Croatia .. In short, still on vacation!

Rhodes #5

Lindos is probably my favourite place I've seen in this journey. This picturesque, ancient village, with its Acropolis towering above, captures the heart of all who visit.
After spending Sunday in Lindos we had a quick tour of the city and then we left for the next hour of driving through Laema. There was a stop on the road for typical greek dinner.

Rhodes #3
