The ninth edition of Venice Days kicks off at the end of this week with “Women’s Tales”: four short films by four young female directors from around the world, a three-day showcase on the Lido (from 30 August to 1 September) to support women filmmakers, under the aegis of Venice Days’ creative partner Miu Miu. The four directors on the lineup are: Zoe Cassavetes, Lucrecia Martel, Giada Colagrande and Massy Tadjedin, who will present the world premiere of her short It’s Getting Late
